The Abortion Recovery Weekend Healing Retreat takes place in a beautiful, confidential, peaceful setting. The retreat provides the hurting an opportunity to heal by entering the grieving process, identifying denial and other defense mechanisms used to keep the abortion at a safe distance, learning how the abortion has affected you and your relationships and accepting forgiveness from God, self and others. A memorial time provides an opportunity to give the children who have been aborted identity, honor and dignity allowing participants to gain closure for their loss and hope for their future. Providing a safe, loving and non-judgmental environment, trained facilitators offer the love and compassion of God through reconciliation, scriptures and therapeutic activities to search out the conflicts and wounds of emotions and spiritual dilemmas associated with abortion. Participants who invest in the vigorous study and activities of the weekend and are willing to journey through their grief will experience a freedom through forgiveness from God and the power of our resurrected Lord.
